Our principal guest for 2017 will be Greta Scacchi, fresh from the West End stage, in Kenneth Branagh's The Entertainer. We will be screening a number of films from her illustrious career and looking back at her work

The 75th anniversary of the release of Casablanca is too good an opportunity to miss and this timeless film will be given even more resonance by Adam Feinstein's talk providing insight into the works of director Curtiz.

We invited film critics, Matt Glasby, Karen Krizanovich and Ali Catterall to choose the best film they had seen in 2016 for screening at the Festival and make the case for their selection to win the Keswick Film Festival's Critics' Award.
