Six blind Tibetan teenagers, cast out by their own families, are in the safe refuge of blind educator Sabriya Tenberken’s school. She calls in Erik Weihenmayer, the only blind man to have climbed Everest, to help the teenagers meet a new challenge: an ascent of the 23,000 foot Lhakpa Ri. But what is the climb for?
