Your Visit
Thank you for attending Keswick Film Festival 2026, 19-22 March.
Whether you're here for a single film or the whole weekend, we're looking forward to welcoming
you to a celebration of global cinema.
Here are a few important bits of information to ensure you have an enjoyable visit.
For All Passholders and Ticket Holders
- Check you're going to the right venue! The Festival takes place at three venues: The
Alhambra Cinema and Theatre by the Lake in Keswick and Rheged Cinema, near Penrith.
Click here for full details of locations, transport and parking.
- To access a film or event you must show the QR code for the film booked, whether it
is on your phone as part of the booking confirmation e-mail, or a paper copy of the email, or
a paper ticket issued from the Alhambra Box Office.
- You will need to show that QR code to gain entry to each film it covers. If you booked
more than one film at the same time, the confirmation email will have a QR code that
covers all those films.
- Please have your ticket ready to present when you reach the entrance to the screen,
ready to be scanned. It's a good idea to download your ticket and take a screenshot of it
before you arrive.
- Please arrive promptly, 15 mins before the film is due to start to enable all tickets to be
scanned. Latecomers may not be admitted.
- Please leave the auditorium and take all your belongings with you at the end of each
film for safety and security.
- Phones and smart devices must be switched off for the duration of the film (after hard
of hearing apps have been adjusted).
- Please keep an eye out for Film Hub North feedback posters - scan the QR code to
complete the online survey. Thank you in advance, your feedback ensures our access to
future funding.
- There will be a free shuttle bus running between Keswick/Penrith and Rheged on
Sunday 22 March. The bus will leave Keswick, pick up in Penrith town and arrive at
Rheged in time for the start of each film. See the Travel page for full information.
